#LearnSustainability: Paris Agreement

Do you know what the Paris Agreement is? We explain the concept and its meaning in this infographic

The Paris Agreement is the global agreement reached by the 196 Member states in the COP21, which took place in December 2015. For the first time, all the Parties of the Conference, 195 countries plus the European Union, agreed to set up the appropriate internal measures to keep global warming below 2 ºC compared to preindustrial levels.

This agreement will enter into force 30 days after at least 55 countries that emit the 55% of global emissions have ratified nationally.
