The Hindu politician, lawyer and thinker Mahatma Gandhi explains in this famous quote the ability of men to solve global problems

Mahatma Gandhi (1869, British India), was an Hindu lawyer, thinker and politician. He received the honorary name Mahatma (great soul in Sanskrit) from Rabindranath Tagore.

He is a key historical figure in the Indian nationalist movement, establishing peaceful resistance and hunger strikes as a tool to fight the power. He was also a great advocate of vegetarianism and rejected any form of animal abuse. In this famous quote he alludes to the potential ability of men to solve the obstacles and the world's problems: "The difference between what we are doing and what we are capable of doing would solve most of the world's problems".
