#LearnSustainability: Acid rain

Did you know this fact about the acid rain?

The phenomenon known as acid rain is one of the consequences of air pollution. Although it is also caused by natural processes such as volcanic eruptions, most of it is due to the fact that emissions containing nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and sulfur trioxide are mixed with water and converted into sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid.

Acid rain is harmful to the environment and materials such as metal or stone, but despite what many people think, it is not harmful to humans. However, the polluting gases that cause acid rain do harm people.
