#LearnSustainability: Carbon Neutrality

Do you know what Carbon Neutrality is? We explain the concept and its meaning in this infographic

Carbon neutrality is the equivalent of a net result of zero emissions. There are several actions that emitter agents can take to reach this balance, being achieved largely due to the phasing out the use of fossil fuels (oil, coal, natural gas, etc.), main cause of global warming.

When it gets difficult to keep reducing emissions, or the cost of the measures is very high, the emissions will be offset by acquiring CO₂ certificates for projects that reduce global emissions and promote sustainable development.
